When I tell you these brushes are perfection and I mistake them for my sigma brushes all the time! I started with the smaller sets and bought this one for face brushes and I am so glad I did! I use these brushes everyday and clean them without any problems. The natural hair brushes loose hair but that is normal and it is minimal. Plus, I'm rough so it has something to do with that as well. But my makeup game has increased since adding this brand to my life. I have my coworkers buying them too lol. For the price just try them out this is an all inclusive set. I also suggest that you try out the eye brushes. You will get a few repeats but you won't mind... Trust me. And I am just a blogger I did not get anything free or a discount I just like to help people spend their money wisely.
1. White hair brushes typically indicate animal (natural) hair. These are meant for dense application of powder products. The black hair brushes are synthetic, for cream and liquid products (they don't soak up the product as much as natural hair does) and lighter powder application (they don't grab powder as well as natural hair). That's why the eyeshadow brushes and blush, highlight, etc brushes in this set are natural hair and the foundation, duo fiber, brow and powder are synthetic (you want a light dusting of powder for all over). It's hard to find natural hair brushes in this price range and these are really good! They are a natural-synthetic blend. That's also why some people are saying the white hair brushes shed and fray more than the synthetic (black) ones-- that's not uncommon and they may not be washing them properly. Please research how to wash your natural hair brushes! Condition them or use oil to keep them from fraying; treat them like your own hair. Natural hair brushes will change your makeup game! 2. These brushes are meant to be Zoeva dupes, down to the name and number on the handle and the natural-synthetic composition. I own some of the Z ones these are meant to dupe and Jessup are really good quality for the price! The Z ones are a little softer, but even those can shed a bit at first. I've included a comparison photo. I haven't washed the Jessup brushes yet, so I'll update once I do about how they hold their shape. 3. Most of the brushes are pretty self explanatory, but some of them might seem superfluous. Some suggestions for the ones that seem extra: 110 Face Shape for cream contour, 122 Petit Stippling for targeted bronzer, 101 Luxe Face Definer for diffused bronzer, 109 Luxe Face Paint for powder contour and 125 Stippling for light liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer. Overall, this is a LOVELY comprehensive brush set! I've had them about a month. The eye brushes are especially impressive. You can do any look with this range! The synthetic face brushes rival Zoeva quality, except the Z ones are heavier without sparkles on handle but who cares. The white hair brushes are also very good. All brushes are dense, so soft, great blending, don't leave streaks, solid construction. These Jessup brushes are a STEAL. You can find cheaper brush sets on Amazon, but they will be synthetic bristles. These are some very good quality brushes. 10/10 recommend.
So far I am loving the quality and versatility in these brushes! They are very soft & so far have worked well blending various cream & powder products!
I'm impressed with this set. Arrived on time. I love how each brush was individually wrapped, and the larger face brushes had brush guards (bonus points). I suggest keeping them and investing in more. Minimal to no shedding while opening or first time wash. So far I love it ??
These have to be the best brushes I have ever ordered for this price. The hair does not fall, they’re really soft, and they are sturdy enough to blend. I really love the quality of these. Each brush has a name for what it’s used for which makes it so easy to apply makeup with. I also love how many crease brushes it comes with.
I’ve owned several brushes and brush sets in my days including sigma . These are in my opinion 100% a dupe for sigma brushes and a 4th of the price !!! Don’t hesitate!! This is an amazing deal !! Great set for everyone!
I haven’t had them for long but I’ve washed them a few times and they keep their shape, no fallouts, very soft and handles are well labeled. Very nice quality brushes at a fairly reasonable price. They were recommended to me by someone I know would know what they were talking about and I’d recommend them too.
They're so perfect!! Great quality and very affordable. I'll buy more of Jessup brushes in the future. I totally recommend it for professional makeup artists and anyone that wants good quality brushes with a reasonable price.
These brushes are great for the price! You really get bank for your buck here. I give it 4 stars! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 was because 2 of the brushes did shed a little bit but I’ve washed and clean them and they are still going strong! Get them they look great and perform well
Bought as a present for my niece and she uses them regularly! Very durable, no shedding and makes applications blend perfectly. Very easy to use, store, and clean.
I cannot spend the hundreds of dollars on really decent make up brushes so being able to find brushes like this that have lasted me over a year I am actually on my second set of these cosmetic brushes. These are actually made pretty well and you get such a large selection for your buck
