THE STORY BEHIND JESSUP
Daniel and Jessie were both born in the same remote mountainous region, yet they did not truly meet until years later, while studying in another city during their university years. That unexpected connection quietly planted the first seed of what would later become their love story.
Years after graduation, they crossed paths again through a blog. Jessie was drawn to Daniel’s humor, warmth, and bright spirit, and soon took the initiative to meet him in person. As they spent more time together, Daniel also found himself deeply moved by Jessie’s beauty, intelligence, and gentle strength. Their bond grew naturally, built on shared values, mutual admiration, and a belief in a better life ahead.
One day in 2013, while walking past a beauty store, Jessie stopped in front of the glass display. Her eyes lit up at the sight of the beautifully crafted makeup products inside. Like many people who love beauty, she longed for tools that could help her express herself with confidence. But as recent graduates, Daniel and Jessie could not yet afford the exquisite products they admired.
That small moment stayed with Daniel. It made him realize that beauty should not belong only to those who could pay a luxury price. Everyone, regardless of background or income, should have the right to enjoy quality beauty products, express their individuality, and feel confident in their own way.
From that belief, the original vision of JESSUP began to take shape.
Since then, Daniel and Jessie have devoted themselves to the beauty industry, committed to creating professional, high-quality, and affordable makeup tools for people who love beauty and creation. The journey was not easy. In the early days of building the brand, they faced uncertainty, pressure, and countless sleepless nights.
