These makeup brushes are beautiful and feel very comfortable and luxurious to use. The tips are silky soft, yet are firm enough to enable you to precisely apply your makeup. Both elegant and sturdy, these should last through years of loving use. They come in an attractive velvetty textured case in a nice soft grey color, which zips easily using the chic oversized zipper pull ring. There’s a wide enough assortment of brushes here to let you be as creative as you want to be. I think these brushes would make a very nice gift for that special person who appreciates fine things.
I am very impressed with these brushes. Several years I have been using a very expensive Bobby Brown set. It's on his last legs and I needed a substitute. I can say with no reservations, but these brushes are as good or better. These brushes pick up pigment very well, spread it nicely without leaving splotches, and just overall work. The dual ended is a wonderful feature. Although the brushes are of a good size, the stems are small enough that the set will travel really well. My photos should show you all the different brushes you get. Realistically most of us probably used three or four of those, but it's wonderful to have a choice. In summary, high quality brushes that are soft, do not shed, and look expensive while being reasonably priced.
Oh, how practical, double-sided brushes! Recently, I've been replacing some of my old makeup brushes, but as soon as I start putting together all the "must-haves," it quickly becomes overwhelming - and expensive. This comparatively inexpensive set promises many functions in a very compact form, so I was all the more curious whether you can really cover everything you need with it. I used the brush set for subtle to somewhat more intense everyday looks; dramatic evening makeup or special techniques aren't really my focus. The brushes are nicely soft and don't poke. They sit well and stably in the hand, although the larger brushes in particular seem a bit clunky and are much shorter than others, which took some getting used to. What I didn't expect when unpacking: I really like the shape of the foundation brush! Until now, I've only used flat brushes for my foundation, or preferred to use a cushion directly, but with this brush, it spreads surprisingly well and easily. And it doesn't absorb an unnecessary amount of product either. The eyeshadow brushes also do a good job. They reliably pick up powder eyeshadow and release the color evenly. Blending works great and is very quick. They are probably less suitable for very detail-oriented and absolutely precise work, but they work without problems for natural transitions and soft shading. Cleaning is also uncomplicated: The brushes wash out well, dry quickly, and retain their shape even after several washes. So far, nothing has frayed and they haven't lost any hairs either. The double-sided function, however, is a bit of a blessing and a curse at the same time. On the one hand, it really saves a lot of space, not only in the travel bag but also in my drawer. On the other hand, you can't just stand individual brushes upright in an organizer. And if you like to hold (especially larger) brushes relatively far down, you always have to be careful not to accidentally paint your hand with the other side. You also have to be more careful when washing and drying so that not too much water runs into the other side of the brush when it's upside down. Overall, the brush set scores points primarily with its soft bristles and uncomplicated application. The brushes don't absorb too much product and are easy to clean. Anyone looking for absolute precision or who likes to store their brushes upright in an organizer will probably not be 100% happy with them. On the other hand, they are affordable and travel-ready, or generally space-saving. Anyone who is overwhelmed by the selection of individual makeup brushes and is looking for a good (travel) set that covers the most important basics won't go wrong here.
This is a well rounded set of synthetic, dual end makeup brushes. This set includes 7 brushes that measure 5.75-6" in length. The brushes are printed with a style number and a card is included that explains what each brush is used for which is very helpful for someone just learning to apply makeup or even for experienced artists as a brush-up. Since these are dual ended brushes, they can not be stored upright in a cup. This is fine since a nice zip top, lined, corduroy bag is included to house the brushes. The bristles are very soft, even on the foundation, precision pencil and shader brushes which I would prefer to be a bit more firm. The brush fibers are well attached and hold up with minimal to no fiber loss during usage. Though the bristles are synthetic, they hold, deposit, and blend makeup pigments evenly. These brushes are easy to clean with soap and water or dedicated makeup brush cleaner. Since these are dual ended, the brushes have to be dried flat which can take up extra space on the countertop. Overall, this is a really nice set of synthetic fiber makeup brushes that should last a long time. The price is on par with similar, quality brush sets. These are sized perfectly for everyday use as well as travel.
I’m so impressed with this brush set! The bristles are incredibly soft but still dense enough to pick up and blend products beautifully. My foundation, blush, and powder all go on much more evenly now. I also love that the brushes are double-ended—it saves space and makes them perfect for travel. The handles feel sturdy, and after several washes, the bristles haven’t shed or lost their shape. This set looks much more expensive than it is.
Nice set of makeup brushes. Has all the brushes you would need. They're super soft and apply nicely with no issues. I have not seen any shedding yet and it's been a couple months now. The storage bag is great. Nice quality zipper. It cleans easily too. My only complaint is the brushes are double sided.
I know these aren’t marketed as travel brushes, but these are perfect for traveling. A lot of travel brushes lack quality and are comically small — these give you both convenience and quality. The length of these brushes are similar to Japanese makeup brushes, which are on the shorter side. Because these are dual-ended, it makes these perfect for when you’re on the go. It comes with a nice and soft bag that fits the brushes perfectly, and doesn’t take up a lot of space. The brushes are very soft and hold up well after washing, I haven’t experienced any shedding.
I really love this group of synthetic makeup brushes! Firstly, the dual-ended brush design is so smart! Definitely much nicer than separate brushes as they certainly take up so much less space, not to mention how great they are for any kind of travel! There’s plenty of different types of brushes for every type of application. They’re very soft & not pointy or rough, which I really appreciate. There’s no globing or saturation when using them with liquid makeup nor when using powders. The blending/brushing brushes are awesome. They’re all very lightweight. They included a very nice corduroy zip pouch which is terrific! Love the whole set!

Great set that takes up very little space! The brushes really cover a wide range of sizes and shapes and take up hardly any room, so have been great to travel with. Really the only set you need for travel. Places the product nicely and I appreciate it comes with a bag which helps keep the mess from products contained. Would be a good gift for someone just starting out with makeup too!

The brushes are okay. The size of these brushes are quite mini and for some reason I didn’t notice that until they arrived. I have carried them in my work bag for quick touch ups to my makeup and I find the face brushes to be the most helpful. There are however more eye brushes than face brushes. When I am traveling I do not do extensive eye makeup looks but I guess I have plenty of eye brushes to do that if I want. I like the double sided brush concept for in my purse to be more efficient with space. They aren’t especially soft. I prefer other sets from Jessup over these tbh. I will use them and I’m glad I have them, they’re just not my favorite. A little scratchy.
