These brushes came packaged really nice with both plastic coverings and mesh around the brushes so bristles don't get ruined. The brushes themselves are super soft and silky feeling. The smaller heads are very thick and very taught like if that makes sense. They seem to be more for precise applications and not for all over sheer application. The smaller brush did do well with my eyeshadow base and then adding some color to the courners it blended well but it wouldnt be my go to brush for that as its bigger than what id typically use.I did use this set when i was running behind, I used some contour powders but because the brush head was so thick I had to go over the areas a couple times to avoid the swipe lines. But when I used the smaller one with my eyeshadow shadow it worked really well. The brushes don't seem to have problems with shedding, and they do look very pretty. The purple is a nice soft, not in your face color which i appreciate.Overall I think i need to look into the recommended use and technique for these.I do think if i did an all over cream and did creams i think the shorter brushes would be more ideal for that. But the longer smaller brushes did do really well with the powders. I do plan on using these more and may end up doing an update if needed.

Love these brushes. The bristles are super soft and apply makeup smoothly. The handles have some bulk to them which makes them very easy and comfortable to hold. Great set! The purple color is really pretty and would be great for a teen just starting out doing there makeup!
