These make-up brushes are what I was hoping they would be based on their advertisement. The quality is very good with no bristle shedding. The bristles are soft, abundant, and feel pleasant to my face during make-up application. I also like that they hold make up well, and distribute it evenly while being applied. These brushes are easy to hold and though I have not yet cleaned them, I believe they will hold up well based on their good quality. I would absolutely order these again.
This is a very well made brush set. The bristles are soft enough on the skin but firm enough to pick up & hold the product to apply it evenly. The brushes are easy to grip and hold. And of course the lavender shade is lovely! The set is a great beginner set or as replacements, and they are sized well for travel, having somewhat shorter handles. Definitely a useful and quality brush set!
These brushes are awesome! The tight bristles make them incredible for blending in powders. I get way more coverage than using a big fluffy brush. The skinniest brush is good for contouring and I've had zero problems with shedding. I also like the white bristles so I can tell when I need to clean them, but I'll tell you right now, they will never be white again lol. Very nice product!
These Jessup makeup brushes are very high quality. They are very dense and soft and there doesn’t seem to be any shedding of the bristles. They came packaged very well first in the box, then in paper, then in plastic and each one had a mesh covering over them. I have received many brushes in the past and never had so much packaging on makeup brushes. This was very impressive that the company cares about the product and its quality. They are a beautiful lavender/purple and there are four brushes, a buffing brush, complexion brush, perfecting powder brush snd precision setting brush. I tried two of the brushes on my forearm and they are soft and smooth and did a great job on dispersing the powder and rouge evenly. I highly recommend these brushes and would purchase again.
The synthetic fiber bristles on Jessup Makeup Brushes Set have a soft and dense feel to them. The 4 different Face Kabuki Brushes are high quality with various head shape to cover most makeup application needs from Foundation, Contour, Powder, Blush, Bronzer to Highlighter. The purple handle is feminine, easy to use, and comfortable to hold. For the premium price, it would be nice for these brushes to be retractable or have a cover to protect them.
This set of make up brushes is really nice and the tips are very soft and seem like good quality. I also like that it comes with an instructions book on how to use each brush.
These brushes came packaged really nice with both plastic coverings and mesh around the brushes so bristles don't get ruined. The brushes themselves are super soft and silky feeling. The smaller heads are very thick and very taught like if that makes sense. They seem to be more for precise applications and not for all over sheer application. The smaller brush did do well with my eyeshadow base and then adding some color to the courners it blended well but it wouldnt be my go to brush for that as its bigger than what id typically use.I did use this set when i was running behind, I used some contour powders but because the brush head was so thick I had to go over the areas a couple times to avoid the swipe lines. But when I used the smaller one with my eyeshadow shadow it worked really well. The brushes don't seem to have problems with shedding, and they do look very pretty. The purple is a nice soft, not in your face color which i appreciate.Overall I think i need to look into the recommended use and technique for these.I do think if i did an all over cream and did creams i think the shorter brushes would be more ideal for that. But the longer smaller brushes did do really well with the powders. I do plan on using these more and may end up doing an update if needed.

Love these brushes. The bristles are super soft and apply makeup smoothly. The handles have some bulk to them which makes them very easy and comfortable to hold. Great set! The purple color is really pretty and would be great for a teen just starting out doing there makeup!
This is a very nice, high quality brush set. I’d say equivalent in quality to Morphe brushes and better than Real Technique. It’s a set of face makeup brushes with soft, dense, synthetic cruelty free bristles. It’s not a full face or eye brush set. The bristles remind me of a dense, super soft, synthetic goat hair. It’s not a natural goat hair bristle but if you like the softness of natural goat hair with the density of a synthetic bristle, you’ll really like these.
It has a brush dedicated for foundation and it’s labeled the buffing brush. It works well for foundation or overall blending or heavier powder application. The brushes in the set are in a dense almost kabuki like style but on a longer handle.
If you like foundation brushes like the Morphe M439 (my second favorite foundation brush, and this one has a similar feel on application and blending and is a good alternative) or the Real Techniques Expert foundation brush (my 3rd favorite foundation brush, this brush I think is nicer and denser than the Real Techniques brush and is a good alternative).
While it’s not an Artis (Artis Oval 7 is my favorite foundation brush) style or dupe, the foundation brush does have that same effortless application and blending due to the density that the Artis, Morphe and Real Techniques brushes mentioned also have. I’d rate this brush as a good alternative to the Artis, Morphe and a bit better than the Real Techniques brush.
The smaller complexion brush is a bit denser and stiffer with shorter bristles and also works well for foundation or concealer similar to the denser brushes from Real Techniques, Morphe and Artis in the application and ease of blending. It’s a good size and shape for under eye concealer application and for foundation application.
The powder brush is also a kabuki style with a longer handle and is a more pointed medium sized powder brush that works well for full face or under eye powder. The shape of it won’t work as well for other face items like bronzer, blush or highlighter due to the more pointed shape and focal application.
There is a smaller precision setting brush. This is a smaller tapered softer pointed brush. It works well for under eye setting powder or highlighter. The shape is a bit small and application a bit too focal for blush or bronzer.
The brushes have larger handles that won’t likely fit (except the setting brush) in a brush roll. No brush storage roll or cup comes with them. The handles are a sturdy metal with the brand but not brush style printed on them. They’re about ? the length of standard brush handles, not full length but not mini travel sized either. The handles have a good grip and feel to them. They do have a flat base to make them sit up on a flat surface without falling over.
You can apply primer, foundation, concealer, face powder, under eye setting powder or highlighter with this set. There are no eye brushes included. I don’t think the brushes would work well for blush, bronzer or contour, you’d need other brushes for that.
The brushes had no odor to them and the quality is very good. I’d rate the quality as better than Real Techniques and equivalent to Morphe. They also include a small booklet with the brush guide and suggested uses. You may also want to refer to the listing details and pictures as well.
