Delivery took about 6–7 days or so, which is a bit long. The brushes have synthetic bristles, but they’re very soft. The pink color is cute. My box was slightly dented.
To be honest, I’d never heard of this brand, so I didn’t have much expectations after ordering them. Now that I have them in hand, I have to say that I’m really impressed! First of all, this a beautiful brush set. The pink shade of the handles is gorgeous, and they are sleek in design and look so professional. This is the first complete brush set I’ve ever had as I’ve always just purchased individual brushes. This 14 piece set really offers everything you need! The brushes themselves aren’t labeled, but if you look at the online images, you can match them to the picture to get an idea of what they’re used for. They’re incredibly soft and fluffy. I would say that they’re not the most densely packed brushes I’ve ever used, so if you know right off the bat you like really firm, dense brushes, then these might not be for you. I, however, think that softer brushes are best for blending, and some of them are firmer than others so it’s a nice balance overall. To me, several of these brushes seem to be designed to mimic the natural contour of a fingertip by being angled/rounded, which makes for a seamless application. As such, the foundation, blush, and concealer brushes have easily become some of my favorites of the set. In fact, I recently acquired a high-end foundation brush (~$70 for one brush) before I received this set, and I find myself reaching for the foundation brush in this set more. Overall, this is a fabulous set! These are easily comparable to other well-known beauty companies in terms of quality and performance. Plus, these are incredibly affordable! Such a great value for how many you get. I obviously can’t attest to the longevity of these brushes yet given I’ve only had them a short while; however; I’ve washed them and there was no shedding, and they returned to their normal shape. So, it’s been promising so far. All in all, I’m happy to have these brushes on hand, and I would gladly repurchase from this company in the future. Definitely recommend!
Love these brushes. I have a couple sets from jessup and they are overall great brushes. The only complaint with this set is one of the angled brushes has a sharper corner that my daughters can’t see to get the hang of working around it. I’ve never had an issue with it but they both don’t like to use that particular brush. This is a very pretty set and comes with just about all the brushes you need for a full face makeup. They are soft and I haven’t experienced any shedding. Worth every penny (and I didn’t need a lot of pennies)

The brush is absolutely gorgeous, the color is beautiful, it feels quite sturdy in the hand, and the bristles are soft without any prickling/irritation.
I love these brushes so much. The brushes are super soft and fun to use. The handles are sturdy and comfortable to hold. The subtle pink color of this set is beautiful. Everything brush I need to do my daily makeup including special occasion makeup is included in this set. It's so pretty that this set will make a nice gift for someone.
I recently decided to start getting back into makeup and, while I already own a few brushes I got off of Shein a couple years ago, I decided to treat myself to some new brushes because who doesn't like to use cute brushes to do their makeup?
I was looking around when I came across the listing for these Jessup brushes. I liked the simple white and black colors, but I saw these pink ones and knew they were for me. In other reviews, the brushes looked nice and soft, sturdy, and like they were a decent size. Others said there was a aroma once they opened their package, but that didn't scare me away from wanting to buy these and give 'em a try. And for $36? What did I have to lose.
I received them yesterday and right off the bat I was greeted with a scent of acetone or something similar, but I left the brushes laid out on my desk overnight and the smell's pretty much gone. You'd have to bury your nose in the brushes themselves to get a small whiff, but it's not noticeable anymore so that problem's taken care of. Anyways, I was super excited when I opened them up because I personally think they look like high-end makeup brushes. They appear to be fully functional, I used them and they did a great job picking up product for my makeup application, the small fluffy ones did a great job blending out my eyeshadows, and none of these poked or jabbed me as I pat them or ran them against my face. I haven't noticed any shedding, and I believe you get a good bang for your buck.
Whether you've been using makeup since you were an adolescent or if you have a niece/daughter/granddaughter/friend wanting to get into makeup, I think these brushes would be a great gift for them or yourself. They don't feel cheap and janky to me and they get the job done.
For what I paid, this brush set is a tremendous value. Good quality and full, soft bristles and the range of brush types is great. I have not used them to apply makeup yet, but so far they seem very sturdy and no signs of shedding.
The brushes from this brand are incredible. They’re really soft, high quality, and make makeup look beautiful. When washed, they’re easy to clean and don’t lose their bristles.
They’re worth the price.
It would have been nice if the brushes had a number on them so you could see/remember which brush is for what. As a makeup beginner, I don’t automatically know that.
